At Lean Energy, we believe education is the most powerful tool for social and economic transformation. Our commitment is baked directly into our business model — for every new energy project we sign, we sponsor two children through primary and secondary school, providing not just fees but mentorship and career guidance.
“The sponsorship changed everything for our family. I can now focus on my studies knowing that school fees are taken care of.
Scholar — Nakuru County, Form 3
The 2-for-1 Commitment
For every new energy project we sign, we commit to fully sponsoring the primary and secondary education of two children from marginalized backgrounds. This ensures our industrial growth directly translates into community progress. Sponsorship covers tuition, books, uniforms, and examination fees.
Mentorship & Career Guidance
We don't just pay fees. Our team provides active mentorship, connects scholars with industry professionals, and runs quarterly career days at our facilities. By the time a scholar finishes Form 4, they have real exposure to clean-energy careers — from engineering to logistics.
Tracking Outcomes
Every scholar has a dedicated Lean Energy contact who monitors academic progress each term. We maintain a 94% school-retention rate among our scholars — well above the national average for marginalized communities. Graduates who pursue vocational training in energy or engineering are offered internship placements.
